Apple Logo
Result of an exercise to thin the logos that appeared in the Apple stores. The logos, which range in size from 2’ to 8’ in diameter, were previously at least a foot and a half thick. This created inconsistent aspect ratios across the range of sizes—smaller logos looked “fat.” My two-sided lit logo design brought thickness down to less than 3”, while delivering better uniformity. Along with the Graphic Light Boxes on the side of the stores and overhead lighting units there are currently hundreds of these logos deployed throughout the global fleet of Apple retail stores.
UVC Respirator/Mask
In response to Covid-19, I designed this rechargeable, photo-voltaic mask that uses UVC light to irradiate air passing through a special irradiation chamber, which keeps harmful radiation away from the skin of the wearer.
Upside down planter/grow light
The upside down grow light was designed to take advantage of shade avoidance that plants undergo, which leads to very tall, spindly vegetation. 360 degree coverage, this device converts energy to grow toward light into tighter, denser vegetation, and Far Red dose at end of vegetation signals to the plant to start flowering.
